CTBrain is a service by AthleteOptics LLC for sports clubs. Clubs use it to plan training and follow their players' workload; the player app shows each player their own plan and their own data.

The club decides what it records and what it uses it for: the club is responsible for that data. AthleteOptics processes it on the club's behalf, on its instructions. If you are a player and want something corrected or deleted, write to your club or to team@athleteoptics.com.

What CTBrain holds

Depending on what your club records, the app may hold:

  • Identity: name, email, photo, position, shirt number, date of birth and sex.
  • What you report: daily wellness (sleep, fatigue, soreness, mood, stress), pain areas, and the RPE of each session.
  • What the coaching staff records: sessions, gym routines, minutes, GPS data, evaluations (jump, IFT, weight) and, where the club has medical staff, injuries and clinical notes.
  • App use: which exercises you marked as done, and which videos you opened and for how long.
  • Technical: your phone's push notification identifier, your language and theme, and access logs.

What it is used for

To show you your plan, your load and what the staff publish, and to let the club plan and manage the squad's workload. Nothing else.

We do not sell data, we do not advertise, we do not track you across apps or sites, and the app ships no third-party analytics.

Who sees it

You see your own data. Your club's authorised staff see their squad's; clinical notes and injuries are seen by the medical staff the club authorises.

Health data does not leave the club. No other club or third party has access, apart from the infrastructure providers that run our servers on our behalf and under contract.

Videos

Videos the staff share may be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo and play inside the app. Where they are, playback is also subject to those platforms' policies. CTBrain records that you opened the video and how much played, and your staff can see that.

How long it is kept

For as long as your club uses CTBrain, and according to the club's own record-keeping obligations. A club can ask us to delete its data when it stops using the service.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app, under Perfil → Eliminar mi cuenta. Your name, email, phone, date of birth, photo, the wellness you logged and your access to the app are deleted, and you are signed out everywhere.

No longer have the app? Write to team@athleteoptics.com from your account's email asking us to delete it, and we delete it the same way the app does.

What the club recorded about injuries, load and evaluations stays in the club's history, without your name, under "Jugador eliminado". That is the club's training and occupational-health record, which is why it does not go with the account. If you want the club to delete that too, write to the club or to team@athleteoptics.com.

Notifications

If you turn them on, we store your phone's notification identifier so we can reach you. It is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.

Minors

CTBrain is used by clubs that may have players under 18. Where they do, the club is responsible for obtaining a parent's or guardian's consent before recording a minor's data. There is no public sign-up: nobody can create an account on their own.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for corrections, or for deletion. The fastest route is your club, which administers it; you can also write to team@athleteoptics.com and we will help.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above and, when the change matters, we say so in the app.
